Financial Analyst for Mergers & Acquisitions

Seeking an experienced financial analyst who knows practical accounting, understands and has worked with accounting systems, can prepare financials, and can identify trends in revenue and expense comparing month over month / year over year.

WORK YOU WILL DO:

  • Utilize finance, accounting, and creative presentation skills to prepare compelling business reports that include graphics and persuasive logic to support our client’s decision making.
  • Use business research tools to perform a comparative analysis of products or services in a timely manner.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously at a rapid pace and show willingness to work to project deadlines.
  • Maintain an awareness about companies in selected industries by identifying new products and services, reading industry journals, and researching relevant products and companies.
  • Conduct research on many companies in a variety of industries to identify trends and to add information into a database
  • Evaluate companies’ financial performance and prepare market assessments comparing companies along relevant criteria.
  • Extract data from enterprise financial systems in order to present financials, trends, and month-over-month performance with respect to revenue, gross margin, and net income.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience - 3 years of work experience in Accounting or Financial Services
  • Accounting Systems - Familiar with accounting systems such as Quickbooks, MAS, Sage, Oracle.
  • Business Intelligence - Familiar with Tableau or other business intelligence software
  • Financials - Accounting experience preparing and analyzing the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and supporting schedules on Revenue by Customer, Revenue by SKU / Products.
  • Communication skills – Excellent English verbal and writing skills.
  • Computer skills – Excellent mastery of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • College – BA or BS in business related field. MBA and / or Big-4 experience a plus
